Dear Children and Parents,
Welcome to preschool for the school year 2017-2018. Wow, it’s hard to believe that it is time for school to start soon. We are excited to see our old friends and to meet new ones. Home Visits for the new preschool children start the week of August 21st. Home visits have proved to be successful for transitioning children to their new setting by helping them form a bond with the new adults while in their own home. We would like to schedule as many people by phone to set up a brief play date for the weeks of August 21st-25th and August 28th-September 1st. Please call us the week of August 21st at the school to schedule your time.
Preschool orientation is on September 5th. We will share our first session as a class with all parents. This will be a great time to get to meet the other children and parents in the class. During this first important session the children will meet each other and explore their classroom environment. They will receive their first reading bags that will contain a journal and information about the reading program. Parents will receive any additional information for their child’s year.

Full day school sessions will begin Thursday September 5th
We are always available for questions that you have regarding your child and our program. We can be reached during school hours starting August 21st.
